What it is
A logbook for everything that comes off the workbench. The site shouldn’t need maintenance: new public repos show up on their own, with README, languages and hosting info.
How it works
- GitHub sync before every build — a script fetches all public repos, reads
the README, language shares, root files and
package.json, and turns each repo into a Markdown file - Automatic detection — hosting (Cloudflare, Vercel, Azure Static Web Apps, Docker …), the coding agents used, and frameworks such as MCP are derived from files and dependencies
- Pinned repos on my GitHub profile appear highlighted here
- Hand-written entries for projects without a public repo; the script never touches files without the sync marker
- Search and filters run client-side with Fuse.js, and Mermaid diagrams from READMEs are rendered in place
- German and English with their own URLs; synced README texts stay in their original language
Tech
Astro with Content Collections and a Zod schema for the project data — a broken entry fails the build, not the live site. Tailwind CSS 4 for styling, hosted as a static site on Cloudflare at dernerl.dev. Built with Claude Code.
